Want the whole story on energy efficiency, without reading a novel?  Come to the Alliance's completely revamped website, which just launched this week.

“We overhauled our website to serve record-breaking demand for energy efficiency information from policy makers, business leaders, educators, consumers and the media,” said Alliance President Kateri Callahan. “Our new site is a model of credibility and professionalism, in both form and function.”

In addition to richer content, www.ase.org has an up-to-date “look and feel” and incorporates the latest, most user-friendly navigation features.

Content: More Breadth and Depth

The redesigned www.ase.org is easier to use and peruse, including:

  • User-centric topic navigation with related pages featuring the latest in energy efficiency news, resources and events;
  • Compelling articles written to help visitors understand the importance of energy efficiency and its role in the world today;
  • A central documents library with advanced filtering to help users navigate our cache of up-to-the-minute research; and
  • Comment boxes that allow users to participate in the efficiency dialogue by posting their opinion of our content or of another comment.

Navigation: “You-ser Friendly”

Striving to be as accessible as possible, the Alliance's website leads users along pathways to discover new content in an environment featuring crisp and pristine graphic design. Energy efficiency news and analysis also is simpler than ever to find — both from within the site and from external search engines. Even the “Donate” button is more accessible: on the top right-hand corner of every page.

What's truly intuitive is the site’s automatic grouping of related content. On nearly every page, a tab area on the bottom left directs users to constantly updated and related news, resources and events. Meanwhile, left-hand sidebars present related program pages, which in turn list helpful staff members and contact information.

A Site to See

The new website furthers the Alliance’s mission to be the world’s leading organization promoting energy efficiency to achieve a healthier economy, a cleaner environment and greater energy security.

As the United States rebuilds its economy and seeks to address climate change, our website builds on ASE.org’s reputation as the “one-stop shop” for all things energy efficiency.   This includes our top-notch expertise in energy policy research; reliable information on efficiency for utilities, buildings and windows; and advances in K-12 energy efficiency education that helps lower schools’ energy bills.
