Dr. Miller has over twenty years experience in energy efficiency. At Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), Dr. Miller managed energy efficiency evaluation and measurement, demand-side integrated resource planning, regulatory activities, and policy development He was active in state regulatory and legislative proceedings. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford, and a Doctorate from the University of Minnesota, both in Economics. He pursued an academic career but switched to PG&E where he worked in many areas including sales forecasting, market and strategic planning, and energy efficiency. Now employed by Sentech, Inc., he works in the Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy supporting the SEE Action Initiative and advises on energy efficiency policy and implementation issues.
