The Evening with the Stars of Energy Efficiency Awards Dinner has been the preeminent showcase for energy efficiency’s most industrious advocates and innovators since its inception in 1993. The black tie affair typically draws more than 500 energy leaders from industry, government and academia.

Winners will be announced May 21, 2013.
Winners will be honored at the annual black-tie gala in Washington D.C., toasted by high-ranking Administration officials and Members of Congress, and celebrated by the leading individuals and companies representing every sector of the economy. Don't miss your chance to shine in 2013!
The Star of Energy Efficiency awards highlight energy efficiency’s most transformative thinkers and doers, in each of six competitive categories:
- Charles Percy Award for Public Service recognizes an individual for an outstanding public service contribution and/or a lifetime commitment to EE.
- Galaxy Star of Energy Efficiency recognizes outstanding achievements in EE for entities earning more than $150 million in annual revenue.
- Super Nova Star of Energy Efficiency recognizes outstanding achievements in EE for entities earning less than $150 million in annual revenue.
- Andromeda Star of Energy Efficiency recognizes outstanding achievements in EE for entities earning less than $10 million in annual revenue.
- International (I-Star) Award for Energy Efficiency recognizes the outstanding contributions to EE achieved through special projects or activities overseas that are led by nominees based outside of U.S. territories.
- Innovative Star of Energy Efficiency recognizes an emerging technology or service that has the potential to transform a sector of the EE market but which, given the early stage of the innovation, has yet to generate proven savings.
The nomination process is now closed, all entries had to be submitted by March 29th.

The Evening with the Stars of Energy Efficiency Awards Dinner has been the preeminent showcase for energy efficiency’s most industrious advocates and innovators since its inception in 1993.
Audience: This prestigious, black-tie affair is held in Washington, D.C., and typically draws over 500 energy notables from industry, government and academia for an evening of fine dining and celebration.
Awards: The Star of Energy Efficiency awards are bestowed upon individuals, organizations, companies, learning institutions, and government programs that have demonstrated a significant and tangible commitment to the cause of energy efficiency both in the United States and abroad.
Leadership: The Star of Energy Efficiency award winners are selected each year by the Dinner and Awards Committee, which includes 15 diverse industry representatives. The committee reviews all nominations, selects finalists, and ultimately selects the winners in each award category.
