We only have one planet to support us’. Obvious perhaps, but WWF’s Living Planet Report shows we are currently consuming about 25% more than the planet can sustain and therefore need 1.25 planets to meet our current global demands – we are clearly living beyond our means.

Many companies recognize the need to operate more sustainably but it’s a struggle to turn vision into reality. The time has come for managers from a variety of functions to develop new skills and new business models. We urgently need to grow a network of skilled ‘One Planet Leaders’.

This high-level programme is aimed at business leaders who want to make dramatic progress in building sustainability into their business models. To fit your schedule the programme is delivered through intensive workshops plus flexible learning across a three-month period and also offers the opportunity to achieve a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Development with the University of Exeter.

One Planet Leaders does not replace existing company commitments to sustainability but rather broadens your options and equips you to implement those commitments effectively and strategically. Drawing on a range of experts and your peers, you will develop solutions to the strategic and operational challenges you face.
