The Alliance to Save Energy offers B-roll footage to meet your reporting needs on major stories: rising electricity prices & expiration of electricity price caps, gasoline prices, summer heat and weather stories—trying to keep cool, federal tax credits for energy efficiency home improvements and vehicles, tips to lower energy bills.
Divided into sections, the B-roll footage spotlights:
- Consumer concerns about energy prices;
- Vehicles on highways and at gas stations;
- Home energy improvements—sealing and insulation (appropriate for stories about home energy efficiency tax credits and summer tips);
- Shopping for energy-using products—including air conditioners—appropriate for stories on electricity prices/expiration of electricity caps and summer tips);
- Summer footage;
- Electricity transmission lines; and
- Sound bites from DOE and Alliance leaders.
