The Johanette Wallerstein Institute

The Johanette Wallerstein Institute was established in 1968 as a family foundation. Dedicated to improving the natural environment and ensuring great energy conservation, they have been involved in and promoted many initiatives – local and out of state – over the last 37 years in support of this end. From helping to preserve natural wildlife refuges, rivers and trails to supporting environmental education programs for children, the Johanette Wallerstein Institute has a broad history of success. Today, in recognition of the increasing need to address transportation issues in order to encourage greater energy conservation, the Johanette Wallerstein Institute has also begun to work with organizations and other non-profit groups like the Alliance to Save Energy to help address these issues.
