Policy Associate

Emma Gilmore joined the Alliance to Save Energy as a policy associate in June 2016. Prior to working with the Alliance, Emma started a non-profit to support policy debate programs for college students and interned for the North Carolina Democratic Party. With a background in research, energy efficiency first piqued her interest when she began an extended study of the connection between international geographic change, energy efficiency, and political power. Emma graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Global Studies.
