Alexandra Straub

Alexandra Straub joined the Alliance staff in 2009. Most recently as a member of the Communications & Events team, Alex managed content development for the Alliance’s website and digital and print communications, as well as marketing of the Alliance’s signature events including the Annual Evening with the Stars of Energy Efficiency Awards Dinner and the Energy Efficiency Global Forum (EE Global). Alex began her career at the Alliance serving as the executive assistant to the president and has held several roles on the corporate & executive relations team, including primary speechwriter for the organization's president and liaison to the Board of Directors and its committees.

Prior to the Alliance, Alex worked as a development associate for the Washington, D.C.-based information services research firm Hanover Research Council, where she helped launch the company's grant development and research platform. She received her bachelor’s in Public Policy Studies from Vanderbilt University (Go 'Dores!).
