The Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO) held its annual gathering in Lisbon, Portugal on November 2, 2010 in advance of the ESCO Europe 2010 conference. The event, organized by EVO, was free of charge and regrouped interested stakeholders on M&V for Energy Efficiency and ESCO projects in Europe in order to exchange ideas on the evolution of the M&V practice in Europe and news on International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) development. Presentations included:

• ICAEN on finalization of the translation of IPMVP 2010 into Spanish and Catalan, which is to be published soon (with many thanks to Josep Granollers Palou for his personal commitment and tremendous contribution.) – and on the two CMVP events held in Barcelona, with four classes which sold out.
• Enviros on the great accomplishments of the European Commission’s PERMANENT project
• UNECE on its interest in promoting IPMVP and IEEFP in its targeted countries, possible interest in translating the IPMVP into Russian, and its plans to look for possibilities to organize training and CMVP events in the context of its current activities
• Energylab on its new role of EVO Affiliate in Spain, for which its initial priorities will be the delivery of more CMVP events and a train-the-trainer event
• SIG on the success of the first CMVP event it organized, and its interest in holding two events a year on a regular basis
