Multistack™ manufactures modular and conventional chillers, modular geothermal heat pumps, modular air-to-water heat pumps, and modular Dedicated Heat Recovery Chillers (DHRC) in Sparta, Wisconsin.

Multistack focuses on low impact chiller solutions that include high energy efficiency, the use of less and safer refrigerants, and the use of fossil fuel alternatives. It is an environmentally-conscious manufacturer, providing the highest cooling and heating output per pound, in an industry traditionally unconcerned with embodied energy.

Multistack is the originator and the innovator of the modular chiller concept. Product innovation based on customer input is its prime focus and it holds several patents, including the original modular chiller concept, Dedicated Heat Recovery Chiller control, and other advancements for modular and conventional chillers. It has a broad product offering and not only builds air-cooled and water-cooled chillers but also MRI chillers, water-cooled condensing units, and tactical chillers for defense applications. The company was and remains a pioneer in the application of oil-free magnetic levitation compressor technology in a chiller environment (MagLev™).
